      <image:caption>I’ve been practicing yoga for 30 years and teaching for 20. Yoga has been my anchor and inspiration. From 2000 - 2016, I immersed myself into yogic life and tradition, took initiations and accepted a guru. I felt deeply nourished and inspired; it was like a home-coming for me. I studied, engaged in karma yoga (seva) and participated in ancient yogic rituals. It was an enriching time that I am immensely grateful for. However, I left the lineage I was initiated into (Satyananda Yoga) in 2016, for personal reasons and due to lack of trust in the integrity of its leaders. The last four years have been a time of deep soul searching, processing and integration of my personal experiences and learning. I am again at a place of inner peace and excited about sharing the wonderful practices that have given me and many of my students so much in the way of physical and mental wellbeing, grounding, personal growth, and softening of mind and heart.</image:caption>
